Matthew Bates who is the author of the book looks deep into the word 'pistis' which is translated as faith and recommends loyalty/allegiance as a better translation. The protestant interpretation of gospel and justification being the center of the gospel is being examined and Bates tries to bring what it misses when trying to reconcile with salvation offered by God through Christ.
